Moli d’en Polit is among Manacors most famous old windmills, which dates back to the 19th century.
After the mill ceased to be viable in the mid-20th century, it has been flaunted as a symbol of local culture in Manacor.
In 2001, the town council of Manacor invested in a total renovation of the mill and turned it into a cultural hub where cultural events take place.
